Thousand Islands Forms 3M Campaign Team to Curb COVID-19

They are tasked to make creative campaigns through banners, loudspeakers or making short videos

The Thousand Islands Regency has formed a team of 3M stands for Mencuci tangan (washing hands), Memakai masker (wearing masks) and Menjaga jarak (keeping a distance). They are a combination of section chief officials, regional working units (SKPD/UKPD) and UKT.

Thousand Islands Vice Regent Junaedi said that the team was formed to massively campaign the standard 3M rules to residents. Every team in the area would have a team coordinated by assistants.

"They are tasked to make creative campaigns through banners, loudspeakers or making short videos. The results of their activities are reported to the regency once a week," he expressed.

Untung Jawa Island Urban Village Head Supriyadi admitted supervision and 3M campaigns had been undergoing by putting up banners at strategic locations that are easy to read society.

"Hopefully it can create a corona-free green island," he concluded.
